New Balance's Merchandise Buyer will be responsible for the overall merchandising direction of a category, department, or channel with the goal of meeting/exceeding sales and margin targets. As the Buyer, create product assortment and buy plans that meet customer needs by incorporating competitive intelligence, customer insight and business analysis. The Buyer needs a clear understanding of the buying process, inventory distribution and product lifecycle.
