Job summary

Uptown Cheapskate in Maryland is seeking a Buyer to help curate and price gently-used fashion items for a fast-paced retail environment. You will merchandise clothing, assist customers, and work with the store manager to keep the sales floor organized.

Open to full-time and part-time candidates with weekday and weekend availability; training will be provided on all processes and product knowledge. This role offers a fun, energetic retail atmosphere with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about teen and young adult fashion trends and brands.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Energetic with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and exceptional customer service skills.
• Desire to grow with the company.
• Available some evenings and weekends for at least 25 hrs per week.

• Select and price gently-used styles for our customers.

We're looking for a full-time and part-time Buyer, with weekday and weekend availability, who is interested in a career with Uptown Cheapskate and are willing to train you on everything you need to know.

• Knowledgeable about current teen and young adult fashion trends and brands
• Can handle a fast-paced, high volume environment
• Energetic, with well developed organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Desire to have a career and grow with the company
• Must be available some evenings and weekends, for a minimum of 25 hrs per week
