Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc. is hiring a Retail Associate – Baler for the Newnan store. The role includes operating a baler, forklift/pallet jack, and assisting on the sales floor and in warehousing.

The position is full-time with part-time shifts possible; hours vary by business needs and location. Starting pay ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, plus PTO and 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the baler machine, forklift or pallet jack safely.
• Place unusable donations into baler and move bales with forklift or pallet jack; stack bales in warehouse.
• Load trucks with completed baled donations.
• Remove donated goods from trucks or bins and keep warehouse organized.
• Cross-train and work in all areas of the retail operation as needed.
