Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking team-oriented individuals for its TJ Maxx location in Dalton, GA.

The role focuses on executing receiving and merchandising standards while delivering an excellent customer experience and maintaining a clean, organized store. Responsibilities include training Associates, ensuring proper tagging and coding of merchandise, and collaborating with management to optimize merchandise flow to the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Experience in retail with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure efficient processing of merchandise.
• Create a positive customer experience and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Communicate with management to ensure flow of goods to sales floor.
• Promote and support store shrink reduction goals and safety practices.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
