Job summary

Goodwill Southern California is seeking a Retail Associate to support our mission of Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work. You’ll help create a welcoming shopping and donation experience and keep stores running smoothly.

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, operating cash registers, processing transactions, pricing donated goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Flexible shifts are required, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic English reading, speaking and writing.
• Some retail, sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using POS and basic computer systems.
• Dependable, punctual and team-oriented.
• Strong commitment to Goodwill’s mission and RISE values.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers and donors.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
• Sort, price and merchandise donated goods to meet company standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Contribute to sales and production goals by supporting daily store operations.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
