Job summary

American Girl Retail Store in Dallas seeks a dynamic Sales Department Clerk (Retail Associate) to provide prompt, efficient, and exceptional sales assistance within a customer-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, sharing product knowledge, processing POS transactions, upselling, and supporting events and promotions while maintaining store standards and service quality.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in the specialty retail or service industry preferred.
• Must possess basic computer skills; some experience using a POS System, preferable.
• Must be willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.

• Help resolve customer problems and make suggestions/share product knowledge to turn returns into exchanges.

The American Girl Retail team is integral in providing lifetime memories to American Girl fans and their families. Our experiential retail stores provide shopping destinations like no other. Our in-store experiences range depending on location from Girl and Doll Salons, Full-Service Restaurants, Personal Shopping, Ear Piercing (Girl and Doll), hosting Parties/Celebrations to name a few. The Opportunity:

The Sales Department Clerk (Retail Associate) is located at the American Girl Retail Store and reports directly to the Sales Manager. We are looking for a dynamic individual who has the interpersonal skills to provide prompt, efficient, and exceptional sales assistance within our customer-oriented environment.

The pay range for this position is between $15 and $17.25 per hour. The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
