Job summary

Red Wing Shoes Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Retail Associate in North Riverside, United States. You will be the face of the store, delivering exceptional service, processing transactions, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash with precision
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts
• Provide product information and recommendations to customers to enhance their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and support colleagues when needed
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a courteous and efficient manner
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including cash reconciliation
• Contribute to achieving store sales goals through excellent customer service and product knowledge
• Help our customers maintain their boots by complementary oil and conditioning, in addition to minor repairs and to toe application
• Available to work mornings, afternoons and evening shifts in addition to Weekends and Holidays

• Compensation: USD 18.5 - USD 22.5 - hourly

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lifting 50 pounds, bending/squatting to lace shoes, overhead lifting, twisting, climbing a ladder, standing for long periods of time
• Housekeeping duties including but not limited to: vacuuming, mopping & waxing floors, washing windows, disinfecting store by using chemicals, discarding of all trash, maintaining recycling, installing and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays
