Job summary

GPM Investments, store 4488 in Merrill, WI, is hiring a Cashier/Sales Associate to greet customers, run the register, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. You’ll master lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification, upsell when appropriate, stock shelves, and help in other departments as needed.

This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules and weekly pay. At least 18 years old, you’ll pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, be comfortable

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification.
• Upsell customers to increase sales.
• Keep the store clean and safe inside and out, including pumps and restrooms.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh.
• Maintain a clean and organized store; sweep, mop, and clean windows.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help wherever needed.
