Job summary

Van Marcke Trade Supply seeks a reliable Floater to deliver excellent customer service and assist customers in-store. You will help locate merchandise, answer questions, and process sales at the POS system.

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining organization, and supporting inventory control and merchandising initiatives. Requires a High School diploma and a valid driver’s license; some college and retail experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• Previous retail or counter sales experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive for business.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, answer questions, and help locate merchandise.
• Process sales and operate the POS system accurately.
• Receive, stock, price, and rotate merchandise as directed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized store and stockroom areas.
• Support inventory control, signage, and merchandising across departments.
