You will greet customers, help locate merchandise, stock and rotate items, and follow company policies. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relocation is not offered. Dollar General is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in stock room or sales floor.
• Build and stock displays; rotate and face items on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register, take payments, and bag items.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Keep store clean, including front end, restrooms, and stockroom.
