Job summary

Goodwill of the Great Plains is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a clean, inviting, and shoppable store environment. This full-time role offers a wage of $15.00 per hour and a compensation package designed to attract and retain high performers passionate about transforming lives through the dignity of work.

Responsibilities include accurate checkout, cash handling, stocking, accepting donations, and processing items for the floor.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is not required but strong customer-focused approach is essential.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Comfort with handling cash and operating a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Ring up sales accurately and ensure correct change is given.
• Maintain cash register supplies and optimize checkout efficiency.
• Stock and rotate goods on the sales floor to keep displays fresh.
• Accept donated items safely and per store guidelines.
• Process donated items to prepare inventory for the sales floor.

We are seeking to fill a Retail Associate position to help provide an exemplary experience and atmosphere to every Goodwill customer through outstanding customer service and maintaining a clean, inviting, and shoppable store.

Position Type: Full-Time

Wages: $15.00 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that sales transactions are rung up appropriately, that all monies are collected and counted, and correct change is given
• Maintain cash register supplies
• Stock and rotate goods on sales floor
• Accept donated items in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner per store guidelines
• Process donated items to produce inventory for sales floor
