Job summary

The Bay Club Company is seeking an Associate to deliver exceptional guest service to Members and prospective Members. You will help meet their current and future needs while supporting daily merchandising and inventory processes.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality/retail experience, strong communication skills, and a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends. On-the-job training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in hospitality or retail.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service, greet Members and guests; understand and anticipate their needs.
• Assist with inventory control; including timely receipt of product and physical inventory audits.
• Assist with daily/weekly merchandising of window displays, nesting tables and mannequins to represent new inventory.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with the Corporate Retail team, Club Managers and Associates.
• Accountable for store opening and closing duties including cash management and sales reporting.
• Maintains a clean, functional and safe work environment.
• Represent the Club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response.
• Enforce the policies and procedures of The Bay Club Company.
• Supports The Bay Club Company marketing events as needed.

• Ability to meet sales goals through appropriate actions and behaviors while providing exceptional guest service.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Club Managers, Associates, Members and the general public.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret directions provided by Club Management.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Computer proficiency preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) year of experience in the hospitality industry or retail related position.
• On the job training will be provided for this position.
• A flexible schedule and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays.

EDUCATION – Associates Degree or equivalent accredited degree or professional certification is preferred.
