Job summary

RoShay Services is seeking a bakery associate to bake, fry, decorate, package, display, and stock bakery products to support store profitability. You will ensure product quality and safety, while assisting in other departments as needed.

The role involves daily responsibilities such as merchandising shelves, pricing items, and coordinating with management for supplies. Prior retail experience is preferred, and the candidate should be able to read, write, and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and perform basic math.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Baking and frying according to production schedule.
• Pricing, dating, wrapping, and bagging bakery items.
• Merchandising and rotating bakery shelves and displays.
• Notifying management for product and supply needs.
• Assisting with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.
• Maintaining knowledge of products and handling spoiled items as per guidelines.
• Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Supporting customer experience and assisting in other departments as needed.

Key Duties

• Baking and frying based on production schedule (80%)
• Pricing, dating, wrapping, and bagging bakery items
• Properly merchandising and rotating bakery shelves and displays
• Notifying management for product and supply needs
• Assisting with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandiseMaintaining knowledge of products, handling spoiled items as per guidelines
• Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food safety standards
• Supporting customer experience and assisting in other departments as needed

Physical Requirements:
