Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in developing outstanding associates, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving store growth. You will lead a customer-focused team, coach staff, and execute strategic plans to meet sales and service targets.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, operations, and creating feel-good moments for customers and teammates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates.
• Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled to address customer experience, vendor relations, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to support action plans and execute operational activities.
• Implement floorset direction to optimize the business and tell the product story.
• Lead opening/closing routines including banking, shipments, and directives.
