Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lake Charles, LA to support daily operations, coach staff, and deliver outstanding customer service.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure store standards across diverse merchandise categories. The role requires leadership experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus.
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas.

Assistant Store Manager

$14.00 - $17.00 per hour

+ Unlimited Commission + Store Performance Bonus

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, develop team members, deliver exceptional customer service, and help drive profitability. You'll gain hands‑on leadership experience while working with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and more.
