Job summary

Chico's Retail Operations is seeking an Assistant Manager at Store 0297-Tice's Corner Marketplace-Chico's-Woodcliff Lake, NJ 07677. You will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, delivering a seamless customer experience, and driving store performance on a daily basis.

You will mentor associates, drive sales with an omni-channel mindset, and maintain brand standards in a welcoming, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
