Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Manager to oversee our high-volume retail facilities. You will drive sales, manage teams, and execute travel center and restaurant business plans to meet standards, sales, and profitability.

The role requires 2–3 years of management in retail or similar service industries with P&L accountability, and a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results.
• Previous management proficiency in high volume retail with P&L accountability.
• Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-volume retail facilities and ensure customer expectations are met.
• Lead staffing, interviewing, hiring and training to build strong teams.
• Drive sales and manage team performance with regular meetings and coaching.
• Perform P&L analysis to support profit objectives.
