Job summary

Plato's Closet is seeking an Assistant Manager in Michigan to support the Store Manager in running the store and achieving store goals. You will help staff recruitment, training, and performance while partnering with owners to share in profits when targets are met.

You will foster a positive team culture around our core values and contribute ideas to help the store grow, adapt to changes, and maintain smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willing to learn about margin goals and cost of goods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in staffing the store with passionate team members.
• Oversee staff hiring, training, mentoring, and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with owners to hit store performance metrics.
