POP MART is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager at our Georgetown location in Washington, DC. You will lead a high-performing team, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales while upholding POP MART’s premium brand standards.

Leadership & Talent Development Partner with the Store Manager to recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team. Lead, motivate, and develop Brand Associates and Sales Leads through coaching, feedback, and recognition. Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and customer-first culture that reflects POP MART's values. Serve as Manager on Duty, making operational and customer service decisions while ensuring an exceptional store experience. Support onboarding, training, and performance development of new team members.
Deliver an exceptional customer experience by leading from the sales floor and setting the standard for customer engagement. Inspire excitement around POP MART's artists, characters, Blind Boxes, MEGA Collections, and exclusive collaborations. Resolve customer concerns professionally while building long-term loyalty. Ensure every customer interaction reflects POP MART's premium brand experience.
Partner with the Store Manager to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), including: Sales Conversion Units Per Transaction (UPT) Average Transaction Value (ATV) Payroll productivity Inventory accuracy Analyze business results and identify opportunities to improve sales performance. Execute action plans to improve store performance and customer engagement. Promote new product launches, limited-edition releases, and seasonal campaigns.
Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, safety, and operational compliance. Ensure company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards are consistently followed. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe store environment. Support scheduling, daily task planning, and operational execution. Monitor inventory accuracy, shipment processing, replenishment, transfers, and stockroom organization.
Execute POP MART visual merchandising standards and marketing initiatives. Install planograms, fixtures, promotional signage, and seasonal displays. Adjust merchandising based on inventory levels, sales trends, and business priorities. Partner with store leadership to maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and replenishment. Ensure back-of-house organization supports efficient store operations.
Serve as a knowledgeable brand ambassador by staying current on POP MART's products, artists, characters, and company initiatives. Support in‑store events, product launches, pop‑up activations, conventions, Robo Shop operations, and new store openings. Build excitement within the local collector community while promoting POP MART's unique brand experience.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts. Must be able to frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders or step stools to stock and retrieve merchandise. Must be able to regularly lift, carry, push, or move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds.
The hourly pay range for this position is $21.40-$26.40 per hour. This range is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws and may vary based on geographic location. Individual compensation will be determined based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
