Meijer is seeking a dedicated security professional at our Milford, OH location to protect customers, team members, and assets. You will monitor premises, perform surveillance, review reports, and assist in preventing theft while maintaining a safe store environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect building exterior and parking lot to mitigate hazards.
• Conduct walking inspections of backroom and sales floor.
• Review cashier exception reports.
• Conduct internal theft surveillance and follow up on reports.
• Test and inspect camera equipment for proper operation.
• Participate in apprehension of law violators and support in prosecutions.
• Document thoroughly and write incident histories for potential litigation.
• Testify in criminal or civil court proceedings.
• Adhere to safety practices and policies.
