Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Grand Forks is seeking a part-time Retail Framer to help customers create custom framing solutions and to keep the store clean, safe, and well merchandised. You will greet customers, identify needs, locate products, and complete framing orders with high quality and on time.

Responsibilities include maintaining the ready-made frame department, supporting omni-channel processes, operating the cash register, and upholding SOPs.

• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance and standards.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they’re looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; promote the organization’s vision and values; be a role model for others.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards; acknowledge customers, help locate product and provide solutions; assist with Omni channel processes.
