Job summary

Landshark Giftshop is seeking a guest-focused associate to assist guests with merchandise, operate the cash register, and maintain a clean, organized shop. You will stock merchandise, participate in monthly inventory, and ensure a welcoming environment while enforcing park policies.

Qualifications include basic reading/writing, strong communication skills, and being at least 16 years old; weekend/holiday availability may be required.

SUMMARY

Assists guests with selecting and purchasing merchandise at the Landshark giftshop. Must be able to maintain a clean work environment, stock merchandise as shop requires, and assist with monthly inventory of merchandise. Responsible for delivering better than the best customer service while enforcing all park policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Have excellent customer service and sales skills
• Operate a cash register accurately

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Must be at least 16 years of age

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Be able to speak in the English language. Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and complete reports detailing guest interactions. Ability to effectively present information and give directions with customers and employees.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in both written and verbal form. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables.
