Job Overview:

We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Account Operations Specialist to support and streamline the operational aspects of our retail accounts, specifically Wal-Mart. This role serves as a bridge between various functions—including sales, marketing, logistics, and customer service—to ensure smooth processes, efficient account management, and effective product delivery to our retail partners.

Responsibilities:
  1. Account Management Support: Assist in managing and nurturing relationships with retail clients and partners, especially Wal-Mart, understanding their platforms such as Retail Link. Ensure all aspects of retail accounts run smoothly, from order processing to delivery. Collaborate with account management and sales teams to track performance, address client needs, and resolve issues.
  2. Operational Coordination: Work cross-functionally with sales, logistics, finance, and customer service to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Oversee product flow to retail partners, ensuring availability and on-time delivery. Ensure account-specific requirements, including product assortments, pricing, and promotional setups, are met.
  3. Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Monitor stock levels for retail accounts to align with sales forecasts. Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and deliveries.
  4. Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze account performance, including sales trends, inventory levels, and customer feedback. Prepare regular reports for account managers and senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations.
  5. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve operational challenges such as product shortages, shipping delays, and billing discrepancies. Serve as the point of contact for retail clients regarding operational issues and escalate as needed.
  6. Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance efficiency and streamline retail account operations. Implement best practices for order management and product delivery.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Retail Knowledge: Familiarity with retail operations, sales cycles, and customer service best practices, specifically with Wal-Mart.
  • Operational Expertise: Ability to manage and optimize processes across sales, logistics, and supply chain functions.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in tracking and analyzing sales data, inventory levels, and operational metrics.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions proactively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
