Job summary

The Inland Real Estate Group, Diamond Properties’ specialist maintenance team in Oklahoma City and Norman, seeks an experienced Specialized Resurfacing Technician. You will strip, repair, and refinish tubs, tiles, and countertops, ensuring high-gloss finishes and durable results.

You’ll handle surface prep, fiberglass repairs, and topcoat application while adhering to OSHA/EPA standards. Join a proactive team, manage workloads, and contribute to quality resident spaces with strong safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on experience with fiberglass repair, chemical stripping, acid etching, HVLP spray guns, caulking, and surface repairs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety protocols, SDS sheets, chemical storage, respirator usage, and exhaust ventilation setups.
• Strong knowledge of surface prep, chemical stripping, sanding, masking, bonding agents, primers, topcoats, and curing requirements for tubs, tiles, surrounds, and countertops.
• Proficient operation, cleaning, and maintenance of HVLP spray equipment, exhaust systems, hand tools, power tools, and resurfacing materials.

Responsibilities

• Specialized resurfacing & refinishing of tubs, surrounds, tile, and countertops.
• Surface prep, stripping, fiberglass repair, and topcoat application.
• Set up containment and operate exhaust systems per PPE requirements.
• Maintain safety and compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Respond to service requests, document work orders, and support maintenance staff.
