Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a growing financial services organization seeking an Associate for its Restructuring & Special Situations team. You will evaluate distressed investments, perform financial analysis, and support restructuring initiatives across a diverse portfolio.

This role offers high visibility, broad exposure across finance and operations, and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in restructuring, turnaround consulting, transaction advisory, credit analysis, investment analysis, corporate finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze distressed, underperforming, and special situation investments.
• Perform financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit assessments.
• Evaluate restructuring alternatives and develop recommendations for senior leadership.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Participate in negotiations, workouts, and restructuring processes when applicable.
• Prepare investment memoranda, management presentations, and financial reporting materials.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and business partners.
• Support strategic projects and initiatives related to portfolio optimization and risk management.
