Job summary

Avantara Aurora, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Aurora, IL, is seeking a Restorative Nursing Aide to join our compassionate team. You will implement mobility exercises per individualized care plans and assist residents with ADLs to restore and maintain mobility and independence.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an Illinois CNA certificate, and CPR certification. Prior RN A experience is preferred; we offer growth opportunities and a supportive work

Responsibilities

• Perform mobility exercises per resident care plans.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living to promote independence.
• Assist residents with assistive devices as needed to maintain mobility.
• Monitor residents and observe changes in condition and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe environment and support resident education and comfort.

As a Restorative Nursing Aide you are instrumental in improving the lives of our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atAvantaraAuroraby performing mobility exercises for our residents in accordance with their individualized care plan, assisting residents attain the highest physical and emotional wellbeing possible by restoring mobility, performing Activities of Daily Living, assisting residents with assistive devices, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State ofIllinoisC.N.A. certificate and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of R.N.A experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
