Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Georgetown is seeking a PRN Restorative Nurse to lead and implement restorative nursing services in a 65-bed facility. The role focuses on maximizing residents' independence through ROM exercises and individualized care plans, under supervision of a restorative nurse.

The position requires an active state LPN or RN license, 1–3 years of related nursing experience, and a willingness to work a day-shift schedule with occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing and ROM exercises preferred.

Signature Rehab is dedicated to providing top rehab care to residents of Signature HealthCARE nursing homes nationwide, as well as other individuals on an outpatient basis.

Signature Rehab has expanded into managing the Restorative Nursing Program.

How you Will make a Difference

• Perform restorative nursing procedures that maximize the residents’ existing abilities, emphasize independence instead of dependence, and minimize the negative effects of disability with an attitude of realistic optimism under the supervision of a restorative nurse.
• Assist as needed with potential Admissions as needed at the building.
• Monday - Friday 8 hour day shift with occasional weekend rotation.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with required state licensure.
• One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Recognize resident’s needs such as ROM exercises, ambulation limitations, etc.

Hiring a PRN Restorative Nurse to work 16 hours a week. Schedule can be flexible but must be day shift hours.
