LifeSpan Therapy is seeking a Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in Westfield, Indiana. The role focuses on restorative care to promote independence and daily living activities, collaborating with nursing staff and therapists to implement care plans.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana CNA certification.
• Experience in resident care in healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Ability to use basic computer applications for documentation.
• Preferred: restorative nursing or rehabilitation care experience.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and encourage patients.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care with kindness and respect for resident dignity.
• Completes patient care assignments as directed by the Therapy Supervisor.
• Provides direct care to improve or maintain a resident's abilities.
• Protects resident rights, dignity, privacy and self-determination.
• Responds to call lights promptly and treats each as urgent.
• Records accurate, legible information in the clinical record.
• Observes changes and reports to the Charge Nurse and Therapy Supervisor.
• Follows infection control procedures.
