Job summary

Alameda Health System is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) for Per Diem shifts at Alameda Hospital. The RNA provides direct nursing care under supervision, assists with mobility, daily living activities, and restorative rehab per the resident plan of care.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, monitoring residents, documenting accurately, and protecting resident rights. Experience in sub-acute or long-term care and current CA CNA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a restorative care training program.
• Current California CNA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under supervision.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, bathing, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Take and record vital signs and observe resident status.
• Monitor and report changes to licensed staff promptly.
• Document care accurately and timely in the chart.
• Protect residents’ dignity, privacy, and rights at all times.
