Job summary

Pine Grove Manor is seeking a Nursing Assistant to assist patients in achieving or maintaining the highest practicable level of ADL function through structured re-teaching and retraining techniques.

The role involves following detailed care plans, receiving instruction from therapists, promptly addressing patient needs, and performing miscellaneous duties as required in a patient-centered restorative care environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Ability to communicate with patients and nursing staff; reading and writing skills are desirable.
• One-year experience as Nursing Assistant or Physical Therapist Assistant, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives training from therapists and supervisors on the restorative techniques and performs techniques.

• Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
