Job summary

Power Dry in Lewis Center, OH is seeking a dependable Restoration Technician to join our emergency water and mold removal team. This hands-on role offers on-the-job training, a clear path for growth, and a competitive hourly pay of $18.00-$23.00 based on experience.

You'll work with the mitigation crew to extract water, set up drying equipment, perform light demolition and cleaning, and help restore homes and small businesses after damage. Flexibility for on-call shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and comfortably.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
• Ideal though not required: restoration, mitigation, or construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction and removal of water-damaged materials.
• Set up, monitor, and remove professional drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers).
• Perform light demolition of damaged drywall, flooring, and related materials.
• Move and protect furniture and belongings as needed.
• Apply cleaning products and antimicrobials per procedures.
• Assist with removal, cleaning, packing, and documentation.
• Maintain and care for restoration equipment; keep sites clean and safe.
• Complete job paperwork accurately and on time.
