Job summary

United Water Restoration Group, Inc. is seeking a Remediation Technician in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on water extraction, fire/smoke cleanup, microbial remediation, and biohazard cleanup, with avenues for advancement as we grow.

Qualifications

• Previous restoration experience in water, fire, or mold
• A strong work ethic and willingness to get your hands dirty
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A valid driver’s license
• The ability to pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• IICRC certifications are preferred—but they aren’t a deal breaker

Responsibilities

• Water extraction and mitigation
• Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
• Microbial remediation
• Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard cleanup
• Demolition
• Structural board‑up and site stabilization
• On-location cleaning
• Setting up, monitoring, and breaking down drying equipment
• Working with and helping direct temporary labor
• Maintaining vehicles, equipment, materials, and job sites
• Managing equipment and material inventory
• Participating in the emergency mitigation on‑call rotation
• Completing moisture logs, safety logs, diagrams, and daily progress reports
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Following company safety standards and best practices
