Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI is seeking a Restoration Technician in Springfield, IL. The role involves driving to job sites and performing mitigation, water extraction, and cleanup with a focus on quality and safety. Training is provided for those new to restoration.

Responsibilities include fire and water restoration, mold abatement, content handling, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. A valid license, physical capability, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to travel out of town for jobs.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Previous restoration experience is a plus but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to customer locations.
• Perform restoration tasks per IICRC and company standards.
• Learn and execute fire, water restoration and mold abatement.
• Respond to water incidents and initiate mitigation promptly.
