Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Rockford, IL is seeking a Restoration Technician. This full-time, hourly role involves driving to client sites, performing restoration tasks (fire, water, mold), and delivering world-class customer service while following safety standards.

You will work with a team, train on IICRC standards, handle light demolition, content move-outs, and be prepared to lift 50+ lbs. Compensation starts at $19–$22 per hour, with overtime opportunities, health and dental benefits, a 401(k),

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to communicate clearly.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel and lift 50+ lbs.
• Drug and background check required.
• Previous restoration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers.
• Execute all work to meet or exceed applicable regulations and quality standards while delivering world-class customer service.
• Become proficient in fire and water restoration, as well as mold abatement.
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards.

ServiceMaster DSI is the largest ServiceMaster franchise in the world! We provide restoration in Rockford, IL and surrounding areas. We are looking for a Fire Restoration Cleaning Technician. Job assignments can include specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack ins, and content cleaning.

As a Restoration Technician, your role on the Team is to:

• Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers.
• Execute all work to meet or exceed applicable federal, state and local regulations and company and customer quality standards while providing world-class customer service.
• Become proficient in fire and water restoration, as well as mold abatement.
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards.
