Job summary

SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties is seeking a driven Restoration Technician to join our growing team in Conyers, GA. Help homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and mold damage with a hands-on, quality-focused approach.

You’ll set up drying equipment, perform remediation, and document progress while maintaining SERVPRO standards and exceptional customer service. Training, certifications, and advancement opportunities are available, with a competitive hourly

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, remediation, or related trade preferred.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) a plus but not required—training available.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation and restoration services at residential and commercial job sites.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
• Conduct demolition tasks such as removing damaged drywall, flooring, and structural materials.
• Document job progress through photos, moisture readings, and detailed written reports.
• Clean and restore contents, structures, and affected areas following SERVPRO standards and IICRC guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and team members throughout the restoration process.
• Load, unload, and maintain restoration equipment and company vehicles.
• Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours and weekend dispatches as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience in restoration, construction, remediation, or a related trade preferred
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) a plus but not required — training available
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in varying conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional, empathetic demeanor
