Job summary

SERVPRO Team Warnecki is seeking a Restoration Technician to join our on-site crew. You'll assist with water and fire damage remediation, cleaning, and restoration, using professional equipment and protective procedures. Training is provided for the right candidate, and no prior restoration experience is required.

You will join a team that prioritizes customer service, safety, and efficiency. A valid driver's license is required, and compensation ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to learn restoration techniques, equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or related fields is preferred but not required.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, and other property damage emergencies.
• Perform water extraction, drying, demolition, cleaning and restoration activities.
• Set up, operate, and monitor specialized restoration equipment.
• Prepare job sites and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Load, unload and maintain company vehicles, equipment and supplies.
• Identify and communicate potential safety hazards and job site concerns.
• Provide professional and respectful service to customers during challenging situations.
• Work closely with your team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Restoration Technician, you'll work alongside an experienced team to help restore properties affected by water, fire, and other types of damage.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

• Responding to water, fire, and other property damage emergencies.
• Performing water extraction, drying, demolition, cleaning, and restoration activities.
• Setting up, operating, and monitoring specialized restoration equipment.
• Preparing job sites and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
• Loading, unloading, and maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and supplies.
• Identifying and communicating potential safety hazards and job site concerns.

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Climbing ladders, working at heights, and accessing confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
• Repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and carrying equipment.
• Working in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Safely handling cleaning products and restoration materials while following established safety procedures.
