Job summary

Berglund Construction in Milwaukee is seeking a Project Manager - Restoration to lead complex restoration, preservation, and adaptive reuse projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence while cultivating strong client relationships to drive repeat business and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience with restoration, preservation, or renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Familiarity with historic building materials and restoration best practices.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead restoration, preservation, and adaptive reuse projects from award to final closeout.
• Develop schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and production controls.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage site logistics and safety.
• Review bids, negotiate contracts, and manage pay applications.
• Maintain project documentation and report progress to leadership.
