Job summary

Merit Restorations is seeking a Project Helper to support mitigation and restoration crews on residential and commercial properties. The role involves assisting technicians, project managers, and crews with setup, demolition, cleanup, and equipment handling to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates are able to lift heavy materials, work in varied environments, and commit to flexible hours for emergency services.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
• Able to work in confined spaces, heights, and challenging environments.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends for emergencies.
• Restoration or construction experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support mitigation and restoration crews in emergency services and restoration work.
• Assist technicians and project managers with job setup and cleanup.
• Handle equipment, materials, and transport between sites.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Provide project runner duties and logistics support.
• Assist with moisture readings and documentation when required.
