Job summary

iicrc-careers is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to join our team in Illinois. You will handle water and fire restoration tasks, including drying, demolition, and other related activities, ensuring high-quality results for customers and the crew.

You must hold IICRC certification with relevant restoration experience and a strong commitment to safety and customer service on every project. Ability to travel locally and out of state when needed is expected.

Qualifications

• IICRC certification is required and must be active.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration is required.
• Experience serving commercial properties is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform restoration process per work order and crew chief instructions.
• Perform residential and commercial inspections.
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment and supplies for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities.
• Leave the job site with a clean and orderly appearance.
• Communicate openly with the crew chief and other technicians.

We are looking for an experienced Restoration Technician to join our team! You will be making an impact each day by responding to customer needs for Water and Fire Restoration jobs. This includes the completion of drying, demolition, and other restoration activities.

You are IICRC certified with meaningful previous experience in cleaning/restoration. You hold yourself to a high standard and care deeply about the quality of your work and its impact on customers and your team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform production/restoration process per work order and chief crew instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
