Job summary

Rods N Mods in St. George, Utah, builds high-end Restomods and custom hot rods. The ideal candidate is a master of both analog and digital automotive worlds, capable of dialing in carburetors and wiring EFI systems for 500+ horsepower crate engines.

You will be the mechanical backbone of our builds, ensuring reliability, cleanliness, and peak performance while collaborating with fabrication, body, and paint teams to integrate mechanical systems into the finished aesthetic.

Qualifications

• Experience working with high-performance engines and vintage classics.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and tune modern and classic powerplants.
• Diagnose, repair, and tune original Corvettes and other classics.
• Convert restorations into Restomods with modern drivetrains and suspensions.
• Wire complete chassis harnesses and integrate EFI systems.
• Bolt in transmissions and optimize gearing for performance.
