Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is hiring restaurant cashiers to deliver fast, friendly service. You will take orders, process payments, and ensure a clean, well‑sanitized work area while training is provided as needed.

You’ll balance the cash register, work across kitchen stations, and help drive sales. This role requires the ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures; no prior experience is required, as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or willingness to help customers
• Basic cash handling familiarity is a plus
• Understanding of food safety practices preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Take customer food orders and answer menu questions
• Balance a cash register and promote extra sales
• Prepare customer orders across kitchen stations (sandwich, fry, grill)
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the restaurant
• Cross-train in other duties such as Store Cashier or Fresh Kitchen
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures
