Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring restaurant cashiers to deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced setting. You’ll maintain a clean, sanitized area, process payments accurately, and prepare orders across sandwich, fry, and grill stations. No experience? We will teach you!

Qualifications

• Customer service skills focused on helping guests quickly and accurately.
• Basic cash handling and POS terminal experience preferred.
• Awareness of food safety practices and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Take customer food orders and answer questions about menu offerings.
• Balance a cash register and upsell additional items to customers.
• Prepare orders across stations: sandwich, fry, grill, or other as needed.
• Ensure proper food safety conditions and sanitize work areas regularly.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier or Fresh Kitchen when required.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
