Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring entry-level Restaurant Cashiers to deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced setting. You will take orders, process payments, and keep a clean, safe workspace while learning multiple kitchen and service tasks.

No experience is required—training will be provided. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities within a established, family‑owned travel stop network.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately process payments at the register.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area and handle food preparation.
• Balance cash drawer and upsell items where appropriate.
• Be cross-trained across departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take customer food orders and answer menu questions.
• Balance a cash register and offer additional sales opportunities.
• Prepare orders across kitchen stations (sandwich, fry, grill, etc.).
• Ensure food safety practices and safe food handling.
• Move between departments as needed and assist leadership when required.
• Able to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
