Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a Restaurant Team Member in Lakeland, FL. You will be part of the fast-paced food service team, handling orders, food prep, drink preparation and drive-thru support where applicable.

You’ll work across Fountain & Frozen, grill, fry station, and general kitchen duties while maintaining guest-focused service and restaurant cleanliness. No formal degree is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
• Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at Sonic Drive-In restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and provide accurate change quickly.
• Provide food service to guests with enthusiasm.
• Package items and ensure product quality and consistency.
• Prepare drinks and ice cream treats.
• Prepare food orders, cook on the grill, operate fry station as needed.
• Clean the drive-in, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters and sanitizing food areas.
