Job summary

Sonic Corp. is hiring Restaurant Team Members in McMinnville, TN to deliver fast, friendly service across Fountain & Frozen, Food Production, Grill, Fryer, and Drive-Thru where applicable. You’ll be at the center of our operation, helping guests and keeping the drive-in running smoothly.

We value flexible hours and reliability. Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing drinks and treats, cooking on the grill, operating the fry station, and keeping the restaurant clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility in all situations based on restaurant business need.
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
• Willingness to abide by uniform and hygiene standards.
• General knowledge of food service or retail operations preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders and making accurate change quickly.
• Providing food service to guests with enthusiasm.
• Packaging items and checking product quality and consistency.
• Preparing drinks and ice cream treats.
• Preparing food orders, cooking on the grill, operating the fry station as needed.
• Cleaning the drive-in, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters and sanitizing areas.
