Job summary

Panera Bread is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, delivering warmth, care and joy with every guest interaction.

You'll work in bakery-cafe roles across production, prep, service, cashier, and more, greeting guests warmly, preparing fresh salads, soups and sandwiches, and keeping the dining area clean and inviting. Flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Clear communication and quick understanding of directions in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for making guests smile.
• Energetic and reliable with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety training and basic knowledge required by law.
• Food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties for bakery-cafe areas (Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC, etc.).
• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and efficiency.
• Stay mobile to assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by following food safety standards.
• Stay informed about daily priorities and adapt to changes with a positive attitude.
• Support team success by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift.
