Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them accurately, and ensure needs are met.
• Assist customers with menu choices and questions about items.
• Ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly with high quality.
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate to management when needed.
• Prepare food and beverages per café standards and operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across dining, kitchen, and prep areas.
• Operate cash register, process payments, provide receipts, and balance drawer.
• Assist with inventory, stock levels, deliveries, and storage.
• Work with team members to ensure smooth workflow and assist with opening/closing duties.

LV Petroleum is searching for a RESTAURANT TEAM MEMBERS that will make an impact by controlling food cost, upholding cleanliness standards, and most importantly, providing excellent customer service!

WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held weekdays from 11am - 4pm at Sbarro (inside our travel center) located at 100 FISH LAKE RD, ATKINS, AR!

1. Customer Service:

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders, accurately enter them into the system, and ensure customer needs are met
• Assist customers in selecting menu items, offering suggestions, and answering questions about the menu
• Ensure customers receive their orders promptly and with the highest quality of service
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and elevate issues to management if needed

2. Food Preparation:

• Prepare food and beverages according to Miss J's Café standards, including sandwiches, salads, soups, and other menu items
• Operate kitchen equipment, including grills, ovens, blenders, and toasters, safely and efficiently
• Maintain proper food storage and organization in accordance with food safety regulations
• Ensure all food items are fresh, properly portioned, and meet café quality standards

3. Cleanliness and Sanitation:

• Keep the dining area, kitchen, and prep areas clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift
• Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handwashing, food handling, and cleaning procedures

4. Cash Handling and Register:

• Operate the cash register and process customer payments accurately
• Provide change, issue receipts, and assist with any other payment-related tasks
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer by following cash handling procedures

5. Inventory and Stocking:

• Assist in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring food supplies are stocked and readily available
• Notify management when stock is running low or when supplies need to be reordered
• Help with receiving and organizing deliveries, checking quality, and ensuring proper storage of products

6. Teamwork and Collaboration:

• Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow during shifts
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up or closing the café, cleaning, and restocking supplies
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

7. Adherence to Policies:

• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, food handling, and customer service standards
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and contribute to a positive work environment
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to ongoing learning about café operations
