Job summary

LV Petroleum in Houston is hiring Restaurant Team Members for our McCarty location. You will help provide excellent customer service, prepare food, maintain a clean store, and support efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Walk-in interviews are held daily from 11am-4pm at 4808 N MCCARTY ST, HOUSTON, TX. The role involves customer service, food preparation, cash handling, store upkeep, teamwork, inventory support, and opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers in-store.
• Prepare menu items (sandwiches, salads, etc.) following standards.
• Operate POS system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain store cleanliness including dining area, restrooms, and kitchen.
• Assist with training new team members and support busy periods.
• Restock ingredients and monitor inventory; report shortages.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks to ensure smooth operations.

At LV Petroleum, we are searching Restaurant Team Members to our fast-paced Houston (McCarty) location. As a team member, you will be involved in a variety of duties centered around providing excellent customer service, preparing food, maintaining a clean store, and ensuring operational efficiency.

WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held daily from 11am - 4pm inside our travel center located at 4808 N MCCARTY ST, HOUSTON, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
• Take customer orders and provide helpful suggestions based on their preferences.
• Ensure that customers have an enjoyable and satisfying experience.
• Address any customer questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.Food Preparation:
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to restaurant standards.
• Handle ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.) and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling.
• Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizes.
• Maintain quality and presentation of food items.
• Cash Handling:
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions (cash, credit, or mobile payments).
• Accurately handle cash and provide correct change.
• Assist with the balancing of the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash counting.
• Store Cleanliness and Maintenance:
• Keep the store clean and organized, including the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as wiping down counters, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and staff.
• Teamwork:
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with training new team members as needed.
• Support team efforts during busy periods and ensure the store runs efficiently.
• Stocking and Inventory:
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and other items as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to management.
• Ensure that all ingredients and materials are stored properly to maintain freshness and safety.
• Opening and Closing Duties (if applicable):
• Help with opening and closing the store, which may include setting up or breaking down equipment, cleaning, and securing the store.
