Job summary

Shake Shack in Surprise, AZ is seeking a restaurant leader to oversee shift operations and guide a team of hourly Team Members. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed in service.

You will help build a high-performing team, collaborate on operational tasks such as purchasing and inventory, and participate in interviews to support staffing and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Isolate and supervise workflow on shift to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Proven ability to lead a high-performing team of hourly staff.
• Experience supporting operations functions such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory.
• Participate in applicant interviews and assist with employee relations.

Job Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
