Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Illinois is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help guide staff and ensure smooth service. You will lead by example, manage daily operations, and focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences during busy shifts.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency, with opportunities to grow through training and performance-based recognition. You will collaborate with the General Manager to execute daily tasks, monitor standards, and drive sales while maintaining

Qualifications

Ability to work various shifts.
Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Excellent communication and customer-service focus.
Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
Frequent lifting of 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with proper food safety procedures.
Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food prep.
Assist General Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
Coach team members to prepare and package orders promptly and accurately.
Oversee dining room cleanliness and food prep areas.
Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained.
